GREYS Social Eatery

GREYS Social Eatery in Ottawa is a contemporary dining venue designed to support social interaction within a high-traffic hospitality environment. The interior balances atmosphere, capacity, and operational efficiency.

Planning prioritizes circulation, service flow, and spatial flexibility. Dining areas, bar seating, lounge spaces, and back-of-house functions are clearly organized. Layouts support both everyday dining and private events. Lighting, acoustics, and sightlines are coordinated to maintain comfort and clarity throughout the space.

Material selection and finishes establish a modern and cohesive identity aligned with the brand. Delivery was coordinated with ownership and consultants to align design and operations. The result is a high-performing venue that supports guest engagement, efficient service, and long-term value.

This space was designed by Aplin Martin’s Creative Director, Irfan Bukhari, during his time as Lead Designer with Bukhari Design Build.

A social eatery thrives where design encourages connection—open, inviting spaces that turn casual meals into shared experiences and everyday moments into memories.
