A warmly lit restaurant interior with a long central bar and wood stools facing an open kitchen. Curved arches, layered wood ceiling details, and decorative lighting create an intimate, upscale dining atmosphere.

MYTH

Located in downtown Toronto, Myth is a 5,000-square-foot hospitality venue designed to transition seamlessly from dining to nightlife. The interior transforms a former sports bar into a high-energy, Mediterranean-inspired environment with capacity for 210 patrons.

Interior planning prioritizes flexibility, atmosphere, and operational flow. Lighting strategies are layered to shift the space from day to night. Material selection, including Douglas fir flooring and wood elements, introduces warmth and texture. Spatial organization supports clear circulation while maintaining an immersive and cohesive experience.

Design interventions control light, acoustics, and ambiance within a fully enclosed environment. The result is a high-performing venue that supports diverse programming, extended dwell time, and a distinctive guest experience.

This space was designed by Aplin Martin’s Creative Director, Irfan Bukhari, during his time as Lead Designer with Bukhari Design Build.
