Starbucks / 2025-05-08 New Brew on Second St, Cornwall

Along one of Cornwall’s most familiar streets, this café was given a second life. What once felt tired and closed in was reimagined as a brighter, calmer place to pause, refuel, and reconnect with everyday routines. The renovation focused on creating a sense of ease, where light, warmth, and simplicity guide the experience from the moment you arrive.

Inside, natural materials and soft layers of lighting shape a space that feels both modern and grounded. Seating was carefully reworked to offer flexibility and comfort, while clear sightlines keep the café connected to the drive thru and the surrounding street. The interior balances durability with warmth, creating an environment that feels welcoming throughout the day, whether stopping in for a quick coffee or lingering a little longer.

From the earliest design conversations through to detailed construction drawings, the project grew through close collaboration with the Starbucks design team. Together, ideas were refined, details were tested, and the vision was translated into buildable reality. That shared process ensured the café reflects both the brand’s evolving standards and the character of the community it serves, resulting in a space that feels familiar, refreshed, and ready to be part of daily life again.
